About Us
Trotter House Lindale is a Pregnancy and Family Resource Center, located in the Journey Center (a collection of Christian outreach ministries just ¼ mile north of downtown Lindale). Trotter House Lindale is a vibrant hub of volunteers and staff who offer services, support and programs completely free for any woman or family in need. Located off Hwy 69 in Lindale, this beautiful 1800 sq ft facility is located to support the rural communities within a 25 mile radius of the center.
In March 2023, Trotter House Lindale was built by women and men, with the support of local churches, who were pivotal in making Lindale a Sanctuary City for the Unborn on March 24, 2022.
On that evening, after a three hour of a public hearing, the Lindale City Council voted unanimously to make abortion illegal within the town’s city limits. Lindale became the 15 th city in East Texas, and the 47th city in the country, to become a Sanctuary City for the Unborn. Read “Lindale Speaks Out!” here.

Our Namesake: Lilias Trotter
Inspired by Lilias Trotter’s example, Lori DeVillis founded Trotter House as a collection of Pregnancy and Family Resource Centers across the nation. Trotter House Lindale is the 499th center started under this name and design.
Vision/Mission Statement
The Mission of Trotter House Lindale is to offer specialized programs and services to assist individuals and families who find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy and difficult situation. Our overall mission is to serve our community in excellence and with the unconditional love of Jesus.
